I've run into the same issue. If you are regularly updating elements on your site, WP Super cache will drive you crazy. You have to wait until it has cached the new information before can see it. It's not immediate.

WP super cache caused me all kinds of problems. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my site wasn't loading. I was giving my host all kinds of crap... then we disabled WP super cache and not a single problem since. (host webair)

Hi Rosh,
I'm using NextGEN Gallery and Contact form 7, recommended.
Plus, very good IMO:
- IntenseDebate ("enhance and encourage conversation on your blog or website. Full comment and account data sync between IntenseDebate and WordPress ensures that you will always have your comments")
- Yet Another Related Posts ("Returns a list of related entries based on a unique algorithm for display on your blog and RSS feeds")
- OpenID ("Allows the use of OpenID for account registration, authentication, and commenting. Also includes an OpenID provider which can turn WordPress author URLs into OpenIDs")

Cheers,
       roberto
